While writing this section about bad behaviors from different points on our judicial compass, 

it occurred to me that a couple of the opposing players in this realm are nearly like twins. 

Though they wouldn’t own each other, they have nearly identical personalities and work-methods. 

I’m talking about over-aggressive detectives who try to get a confession out of anyone sharing an orbit with a crime, 

and defense attorneys that imply that every court witness, and the prosecution, are all liars who are intent on destroying their hapless client. 

They operate like they share DNA. 

I’ve seen enough real footage to be comfortable with this assertion.
