Traditional Nuclear: Dad and Mom, married before kids are made. No prior marriages, no prior children. Lifelong Bond.
Two-parent, parents apart, dual-custody family.
Two-parent, single-custody, disputed custody family .
Single-parent, absent father family.
Single-parent, absent mother family.
Grandparent-head-of-family.
Step-family, with bio mother.
Step-family, with bio dad
Adopted.
Foster family, neither bio-parent has custody.
Institutional life.
Homeless kids that live and network on the street, that form a sorta-family.
This section is meant to help you understand how different living situations help or hurt young people.
